About Me

I am a qualified psychologist and relationship psychotherapist of many years experience. I have a wealth of experience in delivering services for individuals and couples in both private, NHS and community based settings.

 

In addition to seeing individuals and couples in my private practice, I have developed and managed services for parents in Hackney Children’s Centres and managed psychological services within a number of GP surgeries. I also work with the Department for Education and the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships (TCCR) in developing and managing face-to-face coaching services for first-time parents. 

 

I am a published author and regularly involved in contributing to nationwide research on the monitoring and evaluation of psychological treatment interventions (working most recently with The Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships, Relate and Marriage Care) and have an impressive track record in the delivery of effective interventions.

 

Qualifications and Training

I trained and qualified in 1997 as a psychologist and hold a BSc and a PhD in Psychology. Subsequently, I was trained in couple psychotherapy at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships (TCCR) was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Couple Therapy. This training in couple psychotherapy which takes four years represents the highest standards of professional training in counselling and psychotherapy with couples, in the UK and beyond.
